These terms apply when you buy or read a Taara Tales book on taaratales.app or in the Taara Tales app. Please read them before you buy.
Who we are
Taara Tales is a trading name of Powergroup Norway LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 12671407), registered office 53 Cornwall Avenue, Southall, UB1 2TE, England. You can reach us at support@taaratales.app.
What you are buying
- Each book is digital. When you buy it, you get a personal licence to read it, and to personalise it for the children in your family, for as long as Taara Tales offers the book.
- You may show the book to family and friends and share the name page made for your child. You may not copy, resell or publish the book or its pictures.
- Books are read in the Taara Tales app or on this website. We do not sell printed books at this time.
Buying and paying
- Our order process on this website is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our website orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns for those orders.
- Purchases in the Android app are made through Google Play and follow Google Play's terms.
- Prices are shown before you pay and include VAT or sales tax where it applies.
- Books are meant to be bought by parents or other adults. In the app, purchases are behind a parent check.
Personalisation
You choose the names and details that appear in the book. Please use names that are kind and suitable for children. The names and choices you enter stay on your device; see our privacy policy.
Content and religious references
Our stories are written for children and families. References to the Quran and hadith are given with their sources so you can check them. Our books are not a substitute for learning from a qualified teacher.
If something goes wrong
- If a book does not work or is not as described, contact us and we will fix it or refund you. See our refund policy.
- We work hard to keep the website and app available, but we cannot promise they will never be interrupted.
- Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms. The version shown when you buy applies to that purchase. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, but you may also use the courts of the country where you live.
